Secondary Design Technology Technician – South Gloucestershire

Prospero teaching are currently looking for an experienced design technology technician, to assist classes across KS3 and KS4. You will be working in a larger than average academy, based in South Gloucestershire. This part time role will start immediately (approx 20 hours per week) and run for at least three months.

Established over 19 years ago, we have fast gained a reputation for providing students with top class academic support and achieving great results. Acting as a work-finding service, we provide teachers to a range of Primary, Secondary and SEND Schools; from small village schools to large secondary schools based in an inner-city environment for teachers who have strong behaviour management skills and are passionate about teaching.

Prospero teaching will work with both experienced teachers and Newly Qualified teachers by helping you find your next position. Some contracts may be extended from Short Term bookings to longer term.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Full time/Part time: Depending on school needs

Minimum rates of pay: £70 - £90

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a UK school as a technician

• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

• Experience of teaching GCSE (useful, but not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold right to work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

• Provide two professional child related references
