Contract Type: Full time 37.5 hours pw (Part time contracts available)

Hours are 7am - 2.30pm & 2.30pm - 10pm. Required to work every other weekend.

About:

At Mploy Healthcare we have teamed up with a prestige company to recruit Support Workers. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an enthusiastic team in the development of a new service for young people with learning disabilities and/or autism in a brand new build of 6 flats. You will work together with the team and in partnership with other agencies to provide an excellent service. You will be passionate about ensuring the service you deliver is person centred and supports the young people to develop their confidence, skills and independence in their new homes.

This prestige company are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and are committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people they support.

They require experienced support workers who have worked within complex needs before or have understanding of complex needs, at least 8-12 months experience within supported living.

The Role

Maintaining their homes
Budgeting and shopping
Planning and preparing meals
Personal Care
Accessing activities in the community (study, volunteering, social/leisure activities)
Support with medication
Emotional Support
Supporting Non-Verbal Customers using other forms of communication such as PEC's or Makaton.Benefits
