Cover Supervisor – Bury Are you seeking to gain invaluable experience working as a cover supervisor/unqualified secondary teacher within a secondary school setting, covering lessons, managing behaviour and working with identified pupils to raise attainment? If so, please see further details of an opportunity to work as a cover supervisor within a number of secondary schools located in Bury this academic year; Full-time and flexible part-time cover supervisor positions. Supporting the learning of pupils across all subject areas. Delivering pre-set work and leading classing in the absence of teachers. Attractive rates of pay (Up to £350 per week) and invaluable experience towards your UCAS applications. Applicant requirements: Educated to degree level and previous/transferable experience working within secondary education. These cover supervisor/unqualified teacher opportunities are the ideal opportunity to gain the necessary skills and experience for those considering applying to teacher training courses (PGCE, Schools Direct and Teach First) to further your experience working within secondary schools. Applicants will ideally have previous experience working within education and will have their own transport to travel to school at short notice (Desirable not essential). Within this role the successful applicants will hold a number of responsibilities including; Covering pre-set lessons in the absence of teachers – Pre-set work provided. Manage behaviour and ensure tasks are completed. Covering a range of classes in different subject areas with a range of pupils varying in ages (11-16) and ability.  Our client schools are located across the Bury LEA in areas such as Ramsbottom, Prestwich and the outskirts of Bury town centre.
