Job Title: Night Support Worker

Location: Springburn, Glasgow

Pay: £9.75 per hour

Role Overview:- We are expanding our team of support workers for our brand new supported living service in Springburn, Glasgow. We are seeking experienced support workers for our specialist behaviour support setting for full or part time night shifts. We are looking looking for genuinely caring and hands on individuals to join our fantastic team of Support Workers.

This registered service supports individuals within their home and within the local community. As a support worker you will assist with all aspects of everyday life with a person centered approach. You will be required to support the individuals to be as independent as possible, enabling them to sustain everyday tasks including; self-care, meal preparation, housekeeping, finances, attending health appointments and supporting with activities.

Within a specialist behaviour support setting you are supporting extremely vulnerable and complex individuals with a variety of different needs. This setting is support 2 individuals with autism spectrum disorders, challenging behaviour and other complex needs so experience is essential. Requirements:- We are seeking night support workers to work 10hr night shifts on a full or part time basis. You must be an experienced female support worker with knowledge and a good understanding of challenging behaviour and/or autism. However, we will still provide a full training programme that is specific to the needs of the individuals we support. Additionally, you will be resilient, understanding and passionate about providing the highest quality of care.

The individuals we support at this service enjoy a lot of community access, so confidence in lone working is essential. We are therefore looking for Support Workers with previous experience who can hit the ground running. However we will still provide a full training programme that is specific to the needs of the individuals we support.
