We’re looking for a talented individual to join the team as a Supply Development Manager. Your day job will be to manage the supply chain of every single Volkswagen car we import to UK. It’s huge operation and you’ll need to make sure that all cars are delivered to their correct destination, keeping the customer at heart of your operation.

Importing that many cars comes with it challenges, so you’ll need to be experienced in solving complex problems, working hard at preventing them becoming repetitive. This is one of the most exciting aspects of the role – there is a real chance to make you mark by utilising your ability to see problems coming and act quickly.

So that’s the day job.

There is also a number of initiatives and projects for you to steer and be part of. Some of these initiatives will save the company millions of pounds and it could be as simple as changing a port particular vehicles are delivered too. We’re not looking for a supply chain expert, we’re looking for someone who can help us transform our supply chain by applying commercial acumen, common-sense and challenging the way we do things.
