About the role

You will be responsible for assessing learners undertaking a range of levels and qualifications in childcare. These learners will require assessing in nurseries, schools etc., and a good understanding of the Cache suite of qualifications would be an advantage.

Up to date experience of assessing in the workplace and an assessor qualification is essential. You will assess the competency and knowledge of learners undertaking childcare qualifications and review the progress of each learner in line with organisational expectations to ensure timely completion of qualifications.

Additionally you will undertake the required administrative tasks associated with the role, such as tracking and marking learners work, keeping electronic records and diaries.

You will contribute to wider departmental duties including standardisation, curriculum development and the role is key to contributing to the development of employer engagement.

Have you got what it takes?

We are looking for an experienced individual with a vocationally relevant qualification at Level 3 or above and an Assessors qualification (or working towards) to carry out learner assessments and observations in the workplace setting.
