Next Ltd is partnering with Women Returners to offer a new Returners Programme, Back to IT. Next will support talented individuals back into work in their IT department after an extended career break of two or more years.

About Next - Back to IT Programme:

The programme offers successful applicants a paid placement of 6 months, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role. Roles available with this programme are based in the Leicester, Doncaster and South Elmsall areas. A range of flexible working options are available, dependent on the role.

Next has a range of mid to senior level IT roles available for experienced IT professionals. You will be placed in an area which matches your professional experience. To support you back into the workplace, you will receive coaching from Women Returners, a mentor from within Next and opportunities to network across the organisation. You will receive a competitive package of pay and benefits during the programme.

Next is keen to hear from candidates who have had a career break of at least two years, with experience in any of the following roles:

  • Developer (C#, .NET)
  • Developer (Cobol, DB2)
  • Development Project Manager
  • Cloud Engineer
  • Network Engineer
  • Test Analyst
  • Systems Engineer
  • DevOps Engineer
  • Application Architect
  • Support Analyst
  • Team Leaders

You won’t have to start from scratch. We understand that taking a break doesn’t take away from your experience. You’ve already got so many employable skills, you know how to communicate and how to collaborate, so once you’ve brushed up your knowledge and built up your confidence, you can pick up where you left off.

Technology @ Next:

Salary: £22,329 - £56,500
