About the role:

We are currently seeking four well organised, professional and flexible Exam Invigilators to support the smooth running of examinations at Uppingham School.

You will assist the Exams Officer, Assistant Exams Officer and Senior Exam Invigilators in maintaining the security and smooth running of the exam rooms in accordance with external awarding body requirements. This will include keeping exam papers and materials secure before, during and after exams, supervising and observing vigilantly throughout the exams and ensuring candidates are dismissed appropriately after exams. You will invigilate pupils taking both Internal and External Exams.

The role is offered on a Zero Hours contract basis. The working hours will be variable in accordance with the exam timetable. The exams are held throughout the year, with the period between mid-April until the end of June (not including half-term) being a peak time in our calendar. There may be occasional hours available on the weekends in order to meet the requirements of the department.
