We are recruiting for an enthusiastic support worker/therapy assistant who has a fun, positive attitude to work with an engaging 6-year-old boy who has cerebral palsy, hypermobility and delayed motor skills, bilateral hearing impairment along with associated learning difficulties.  Our client lives in the Dagenham area. You will help the family by being part of his school to home therapeutic and rehabilitation programme working with him 2 to 3 afternoons a week. You will also be required all day on a Saturday attending as his one to one on a Saturday morning at his Polish school and then social interaction and therapy in the afternoon. An understanding of Polish would be an advantage, however not essential. There are 2 to 3 afternoons, 3pm to 7pm and a full day on a Saturday 8.30am to 5.30pm. We are willing to accept two members of staff to share the hours if suitable candidates apply as such. Ideally with some flexibility to work at other times during school holidays. Hourly rate will be between £12.00 and £14.00, depending upon experience. A full driving licence is essential. This job is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure. Closing Date: 14th October  2019.
