Due to growth within the organisation, we have a fantastic new opportunity for an Early Years professional with a passion for quality Early Years education, to join our clients team as Senior Manager.

Position: Senior Early Years Manager

Location: Head Office, Huddersfield

Hours: 37 hours per weekflexibility in the form of 2 days’ home working, would be considered

Salary: £36,500.00

Contract: Permanent

The Role

The Senior Early Years Manager has overall management responsibility for leading on development, ongoing review and quality management of our training/resources products and services.

Working with a team of early years’ experts they will be responsible for

 

  • Writing material and developing programmes of support to help practitioners improve practice in early years.
  • Ensuring systems are in place for monitoring, auditing and quality assurance and to measure impact.

 

Systems will be robust and in line with the organisation and government policy and strategy for the early years and the organisation’s requirement under CACHE endorsement.

Main Duties

 

  • Lead for practitioner training and development from entry up to early years’ teacher.
  • Lead on and develop training, products and services in conjunction with other early years experts.
  • Quality delivery of training, products and services, both online and face to face.
  • Development of online resources for practitioners.
  • Support the development of bids and tenders.
  • Act as advisor for curriculum across England, Scotland and Wales.
  • Centre administration of CACHE accredited products

 

About You

Educated to degree level or equivalent in the area of early years Early Year, the Senior Early Years Manager will have experience of working in the sector as an early years teaching professional working within the sector. You may have gained your relevant experience working in the sector at a senior level and have moved to a local authority and had responsibility for the training portfolio or have moved to work in higher education training students from foundation degree level and beyond.

You will bring with you a passion for quality early years’ education and have a sound knowledge of the training landscape for the sector and Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
