We’re looking a talented and creative Global Early Careers Programme Manager to join our Talent Acquisition team in our Cambridge global HQ, developing and managing our Early Careers hiring strategy and capability.
Why is this role exciting?
This is a new global role that will have wide strategic impact for Arm, working across our geographic regions to ensure we continue to build out effective programmes for our Apprentice, Intern and Graduate/Post-Graduate hiring. You will be the subject-matter expert for Early Careers, working with our regional Talent Acquisition (TA) Delivery teams and global People team colleagues to design the activities that enhance our on-campus brand, recruitment activities, and deliver effective development schemes for our teams.
As well as working on our current programmes, you will have the opportunity to lead the future iteration of our operating model to ensure continued success as we grow and the skills we need from our new joiners changes in line with business demands.
You will report to the Sr Director, Global Talent Acquisition and be part of the matrixed TA Leadership team working with senior TA and People team colleagues from across Arm.
Your day could look a little like this:
In this role, you’ll be the key guardian of our global campus hiring strategy, working with our teams and business leaders to build and execute the strategic plan to deliver our hiring goals. You will have a strong working relationship with your regional TA Manager peers to support them and their recruiting teams as they hire into Arm’s global locations.
You’ll lead key relationships and ensure our teams represent Arm’s employer brand at target schools through partnership with our Talent Acquisition Marketing Manager.
To support this, you’ll work with the teams to use internal and external data to identify target schools and align the appropriate level of engagement through innovative campus events, presentations and social media campaigns.
You’ll also collaborate with key colleagues across the organisation such as the Talent Development, Diversity and Inclusion and Corporate Social Responsibility teams to support our wider STEM and development activities.
The future development of our Early Careers programmes will be a key focus for this role.
Who you are?
Previous experience leading and developing successful Early Careers programmes is essential, along with a strong program management background. You should havepreviously held a role within Early Careers leadership, and ideally have a good knowledge of wider Talent Acquisition activities.
You will have had exposure to both global and regional considerations, with a broad understanding of University and College systems and processes across our key regions (UK/EMEA, North America, India/APAC).
Additionally, you will have wider experience of the full Early Careers lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, training and technical/personal development.
We are looking for an influencer with project management skills and the ability to collaborate; building positive relationships with peers, partners and senior management. You’ll be a ‘think big’ individual with a passion for innovation, but also be able to apply your critical thinking through attention to detail to handle all aspects of our Early Careers programmes. You will need to demonstrate extraordinary communication and be an astute problem solver that anticipates constraints and identifies optimization opportunities. Arm managers should display the highest ethical fortitude, display drive, and have excellent judgement.
You must thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving operating environment, with a strong appreciating of the business drivers and prioritisation for early careers activities within busy teams.
Software and hardware technology hiring experience would be beneficial to support your adjustment to the environment here at Arm, aligning to the skillsets we hire for our programmes.
Some travel (short and long-haul) will be required to engage with our regional teams and target schools, with a typical ramp of activities due to the seasonal cycle of Early Careers recruiting.
