Support Workers needed full and part time up to £8.60 per hour.

Brookfields is our brand new innovative service opening in January 2020, which will include 21 self-contained flats for independent supported living. It is located in the village of Great Glen, 2 miles south of Oadby on the outskirts of Leicester.

The service will be a brand new conversion, offering flats and communal space that meet a high standard. It is situated in a lovely position in the village with the River Sence running past it.

Our service users have a diagnosis of a Learning Disability and require staff who are enthusiastic about the support they provide. You will support people with a wide range of needs, including those with complex needs and others who require a much lower level of support to promote their independence.

Staff will need to be able to provide support to enable service users to live independently in their new homes, including support to access their local community. This may involve going out for walks, visiting coffee shops, going to cinema/theatre, attending football matches, college/voluntary work and more. Ideally, you will also have an ability to cook.

The service will operate shifts that will cover 24 hours a day, 7 days per week to include early, late and waking night cover.
