IT Systems Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen, supporting the information management systems used to deliver services within our People directorate. Do you have an ability for technical problem solving, and an eye for detail?

IT Systems Technician Responsibilities:

We are recruiting a part-time System Support Officer for our Business Intelligence team, based in the People directorate. This offers an exciting and rewarding career opportunity, providing first / second line support and systems development across multiple service areas and systems.

IT Systems Technician Requirements:

Applicants must combine the technical expertise required for system support with good communication skills to work in an integrated way across services and teams. Rutland currently uses case management systems including LiquidLogic and Capita, plus support software such as MS Office. Experience of managing these or similar systems is highly desirable.

Strong project management and organisation skills will also be required, in order to manage upgrades and other system-related changes.

The successful applicant for this post will be subject to a Standard check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Salary: £26,999 to £28,785 pro rata
