Customer Service - Travel Insurance
Location: Christchurch, Dorset
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hrs per week, various shifts, includes weekends
Part time applicants can be considered but will need to be avilable to attend training on full time hours for a period of 3 weeks at induction.
Salary: £17,000 - £19,000 (depending on experience)
Due to or expansion plans we are currently looking to add to our teams across a variety of positions. The roles on offer include:
Customer Service Advisors in our Medical Risk Assessment team, receiving in-coming calls from customers wishing to update their travel insurance medical records. The purpose of this role is to help customers through the process of declaring any pre-existing medical conditions, ensuring they fully understand any restrictions on their travel insurance policy, whilst ensuring delivery of first class customer service.
Customer Service Advisors in our Claims Handling team providing essential support to our customers - this will involve assessing new claims, checking documents and reviewing policy terms as well as making decisions on claims approval or decline.
We would welcome applications from candidates who have:
Excellent telephony based customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
A confident, articulate and enthusiastic manner
Experience in a telephone or customer facing role
Experience of working in the insurance industry
A good standard of education
