Development Co-ordinator - Human Rights - Part time - 17.5 hours a week - 12 month contract
Interesting and challenging role working within the Human Rights area of this high profile concern. You will be responsible for identifying and securing external funding for Human Rights Projects.
You will need to demonstrate significant experience of grant writing and obtaining funding with ideally project management experience in the NGO/Charitable sector. An interest and some knowledge of human rights law and international development, strong writing skills with the ability to build effective relationships with partners, external stakeholders and donors.
Key responsibilities will include undertaking research for funding streams, develop and build knowledge of trusts and foundations and institutional donors and maintaining records of existing and prospective donors. Devise tailored approaches to encourage long term commitment working with the Directors and Programme Lawyers. Additionally to provide funding analysis and monitoring funding activity
