We have a new exciting part time vacancy for a Nurse Practitioner near Romsey, the role is based in a busy and bustling GP surgery with around 18,000 patients on their list.

They are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join their team to work on Thursdays and Fridays, totalling around 16 hours. There is the option to work another day, either on Tuesday and Wednesday if you are looking for a few extra hours.

You'll be seeing patients for a range of Minor Illnesses and basic Injuries, you should be confident and autonomous with running your own clinics with at least 6 months of experience in general practice. Prescribing is essential for the role, but you will not be required to see patients for any chronic disease management clinics, as the Practice Nurses at the surgery pick up the QOF. They are happy to see candidates from a range of backgrounds, including community, urgent care and A&E.

If successful you'll receive a competitive employment package, they are open to discussion regarding salary which will be heavily dependent on experience. They are looking to pay around £53,000 - £56,000 (FTE). 6 weeks of annual leave, NHS pension and Indemnity costs are all included as standard in the package.

The surgery has a 'Good' CQC report and prides themselves on offering excellent patient care, and continued development of their staff. They are a Training and Research Practice who are forward thinking and always supportive of progression and skill development. They have dedicated trainers and mentors based in house, so if there are any areas you're interested in specialising in they can certainly help out with that!

EMIS web is used as the primary system at the Practice, training can be given if you are not familiar. There is parking on-site for staff and plenty of public transport links nearby.
