A small, community-focused further education college in Southall is currently seeking a part-time learning support assistant to work 1:1 with a young woman who has OCD.
The college are specifically seeking a support worker trained in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) who has experience of working with individuals with OCD.
Working 22.5 hours per week across 4 days, you will support the student on an Enterprise and Gardening course, so a bit of practical know-how would be great! Needless to say, reliability, empathy and understanding are also key attributes for this complex support role.
With a 9.30am start and a 3pm finish, this role would be perfect for an experienced support worker who is looking for a little more flexibility than a standard school timetable. Whether you want to be there for the school run, to have more time for study, or simply to have a better work life balance, this is a fantastic opportunity offered ongoing for the full academic year!
This is a temporary position.
If you are interested, then please contact Helena Culliney at Axcis Education.
Axcis is an equal opportunities employer. The company is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
All staff will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview.
Axcis Education is an employment agency offering temporary supply work for daily, short-term and long-term assignments in addition to permanent positions
