Role: Accounts Assistant

Salary: £18,000 to £24,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: Clydebank

My client requires an Accounts Assistant to join them in their busy Accountancy Practice in Clydebank.

This role can be full time or part time with hours ranging from 25 to 37 dependent on the candidate requirements. In return they can offer great bonuses, a fun working environment and out of work social events.

The successful candidates’ duties will include;

* Managing a portfolio of Limited Company and Sole Trader/Partnership Clients to ensure all deadlines are met throughout the financial year

* Completing all bookkeeping work for clients throughout the year, up to Trial Balance stage

* Preparing Quarterly VAT returns

* Liaising with HMRC to assist with client queries or HMRC enquiries.

* All other associated duties and related administrative/filing duties.

Experience required:

It would be beneficial for the candidate to have experience of one, if not all, of the following;

* QuickBooks

* Xero

* Sage 50

* Sage One

They would have a minimum of 3 years practice/finance-based experience.
