Financial Services Administrator / Trainee Paraplanner
Location: Leeds City Centre
Hours: Part Time – 28 hours per week over a minimum of 4 days
Salary: Up to £26,000 full time equivalent dependent upon experience
Working as part of the team at Marshall Wealth Management Ltd who are an Appointed Representative of St. James’s Place Wealth Management Plc.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a professional and experienced Financial Services Administrator to work within a highly successful St. James’s Place Wealth Management Practice. This role would suit someone who is looking to become a Paraplanner.
You will be based at the office in Leeds, writing reports in respect of the business generated by the Financial Adviser within the Practice.
St. James’s Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) is a leading, and highly regarded, FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company which distributes a range of Investment and Retirement products and financial solutions to a High Net Worth client base.
This Partner is well established and highly successful.
The Role – Financial Services Administrator / Trainee Paraplanner
As a Financial Services Administrator / Trainee Paraplanner you will be working for the Director and your role will include:
* Providing a high level of technical and administrative support while maintaining an excellent level of customer service to clients of the Practice
* You will be a point of contact for clients and third parties dealing with general enquiries
* You will be collating client information
* You will be preparing suitability letters and illustrations
* You will be managing cases to completion
* You will be working with internal processing systems. You will be given full training on the relevant IT systems
* You will be ensuring that the business obtained is being processed compliantly and in a timely way

A structured 12 month programme established to develop individuals within SJP Partner Practices to become Diploma Qualified Paraplanners who are able to support the advice process from beginning to end.
The Person – Financial Services Administrator / Trainee Paraplanner
This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate, IT proficient and professional individual who is highly organised, enjoys using their initiative and who has a ‘can do’ working style.
* It is essential that you are a self-starter and happy working with little or no supervision
* Ideally, you have been working for an IFA or in a Wealth Management environment and you hold the Level 4 Dip PFS qualification or are working towards obtaining it
* Alternatively, you may be FPC qualified and/or have significant industry experience
* You will need to have experience of the administration of IHT and/or Pension and/or Investment products
* You will have contact with clients, and it is essential that you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion.
