Due to expanison our client, a succesful manufacturing business based in Boldon are looking to appoint a part-time Admin Assistant on a permanent basis.
* Answering all calls into the business and dealing with callers in a courteous and professional manner. Forwarding calls to the appropriate department, taking messages and forwarding in a timely manner
* Filing of invoices and delivery notes
* Updating Sales & Purchase ledgers
* Bank reconcilliations
* Providing administrative support as required
Skills and Experience
* Excellent telephone manner and ability to deal effectively with customers enquiries
* Proven organisational and administrative skills
* Demonstrated problem solving ability
* Strong IT skills
* Good written & verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage various tasks and changing priorities at short notice
* Self motivated and tenacious
* An effective team player
* Solution focused
The role would be starting on a temporary probabtion period for 12 weeks, which if successful will result in a permanent contract of emploment being offered.
The role willl be working 20-25 hours across 5 days Mon-Fri, and they can be flexible with regard to start/finish times.
