An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced educationalist to deliver on to the Rural Business & Agriculture Programmes at our Aberdeen Campus. We require a business lecturer specialising in finance and economics, who also has strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
The successful candidate will be a team player who can also contribute substantially to the teaching of the programme with an understanding of its future education and training needs, and have experience of teaching and module management and course development in a higher education setting. Along with a thorough knowledge of business management and especially finance, ideally they should have an understanding of the agricultural and rural business sector.
This is a permanent, 0.2 FTE post of 7.4 hours per week.
The successful applicant should have an Honours Degree or equivalent qualification in business management, accountancy, economics, or a related subject, and preferably have a relevant postgraduate degree. Experience of teaching, particularly in a higher education setting and/or a teaching qualification would be desirable. A current UK driving licence is also desirable.
The salary will be in the region of £33,692 - £39,070 per annum, pro-rata.
