SEN Teaching Assistant - East Lancashire

A variety of excellent SEN Schools across East Lancashire (Blackburn/Burnley/Accrington) are currently seeking teaching assistants for full and part time work.

These schools are looking for passionate, sympathetic teaching assistants to work alongside dedicated teams to support pupils with autism, MLD, PD and Emotional and Behavioural Disorders. Previous experience as an SEN teaching assistant or Care Assistant would be beneficial, however it is not essential; all we ask is that you have a willingness to learn and the compassion to care for the people we support.

As a Teaching Assistant

• You will be responsible for the support, in delivery of the school's curriculum on a daily basis, supporting pupils to make their learning a rewarding experience.
• You will engage pupils in small classes and occasionally on a one to one basis within the classroom.
• You will be expected to attend staff briefings and help contribute to pupil reviews.
