Care Assistant - Working during the day only

We are recruiting for a Care Assistant (Day) has become available for a lovely residential care home in Stanmore/Harrow, with easy access and good transport links. Your role is to assist and support the residents with their daily needs. We have full and part time hours available for this role, please confirm the hours you would prefer to work when applying.

As a carer, you will be required to:

• To support residents in all activities of daily/nightly living which are specified in their care plan and or are required in order to maximise wellbeing (physical, emotional, social etc.). These include personal care, food and drink, administering medication, accessing health care and recreational activities.
• Engaging with residents and other stakeholders in a way that reflects their preferences, abilities as well as taking into account any impairment. This will be done in a way that will nurture their sense of self.
• Throughout the day check on the residents’ hourly
• Tend to any of their needs i.e. personal care & toileting
• Update the care records

The company are offering quick interviews for this role and are looking for positive, energetic care assistants, who’s preference it is to work during the day only. You will be required to work on a shift pattern which includes weekends.
