Do you have HR Generalist knowledge with particular focus on Recruitment, Talent Management and Employee Relations?

We are looking for a HR Business Partner to support our Global Data Centre and Information Technology divisions, with a total population of circa 300, mainly based in Crawley with some international headcount.

The main purpose of this role will be to provide effective, proactive and responsive HR support to senior management, line managers and staff based in various Chubb locations.

This role is based in the London office on Leadenhall street and reports to an HR Manager with a team covering Eurasia & Africa, Accident & Health, Global Data Centre and Information Technology.

The role provides an excellent opportunity to cover all aspects of the HR cycle for a diverse group of UK and some overseas locations. You will work from Crawley office 1 day per week, and we are happy to consider candidates who can work full time or 80% FTE (4 days per week or 30 Hours over 5 days).

Key Responsibilities

 

  • To build credibility with the client groups, advise and coach business managers so that the best management and HR practices are adopted consistently across areas of responsibility in managing their Chubb employees, enabling them to maximise their contribution towards meeting key business objectives.

  • To supply and implement recruitment and selection strategies and practices adopted by Chubb in the respective populations. To assist with identifying appropriate approaches that attract, welcome and retain talent. To carry out interviews across Chubb functions/business divisions as required.

  • To work with business managers to identify Learning and Development needs of their employees and liaise with L&D to determine appropriate development approach enabling employees to acquire technical/non-technical skills and levels of behavioural competence to meet their objectives and fully give to business success.

  • To provide consultation and mentoring to business managers in their management of performance and or employee relations issues, including disciplinary, investigation and grievance processes.

  • To support business managers during the Performance Management process with goal setting and giving feedback

  • To support business managers with annual Compensation review process.

  • To partner with the business for the review of Talent and succession planning.

  • Assist with building and maintaining a Diverse and Inclusive work environment.

  • Assist with and undertake tasks associated with a diverse range of projects as reasonably required by the HR Manager and wider HR team.

  • To support activities relating to all HR Function cyclical processes and ad hoc duties.
