What we do:

Our partnership with Staffordshire County Council was established in 2014, and is a £1bn pound initiative to help deliver sustainable economic growth to the region. Our 70-person strong Staffordshire Design Hub (SDH) leads on a full spectrum of infrastructure work and transport planning for the council and private clients (locally and nationally), while also playing a leading national role in asset management.

One of our biggest successes to date has been our support of Staffordshire's economy through our 'Red Carpet' process. This initiative shows the Partnership at its best with planners, designers, project managers and constructors all pulling together irrespective of their employing organisation to make Staffordshire a place where developers find it easy to do business.

Our recent key projects include:

• Mill Green Outlet Village, off-site infrastructure construction and management £12m+
• Stafford Western Access Road £35m
• I54 Extension £3m
• Lichfield Southern Bypass £12m
• A fully committed and exciting core capital programme of work £5m per annum
• Bridge replacement schemes for National Rail
• Annual maintenance of carriageways and structures across Staffordshire

What we can offer you?

Our Staffordshire team is made up of c.70 professionals with a diverse experience base. We pride ourselves on mentoring junior technicians/engineers and can offer significant support towards Chartership, with a bonus of up to £5,000 on completion.

Our team works on a rotational basis, so you can gain experience in all design areas including structures, integrated transport development schemes, major projects and asset management; of course, if you would like to specialise you can do that too.

We work on local projects which enables us to see these through from inception to completion, working in partnership with our operations teams and offering on-site experience.

Based in central Stafford and in the same building as Staffordshire County Council, we have large modern spaces to work in which are a short walk from the train station and with excellent road links to Birmingham, Derby, Manchester and Telford.
