JOB TITLE: Finance and Procurement Systems Controller

We currently have some unique and exciting opportunities within Southampton University Hospitals which will allow the successful candidates to gain regular shifts and valuable experience within a variety of unique environments.

Locations covered: Royal South Hants Hospital, Southampton

Band 2 - Example Rate

Day Rate - £15.55 per hour

Night/Sat Rate - £20.21 per hour

Sun/Bank Holiday Rate - £24.88 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

Controllers are responsible for managing and supporting the Finance and Procurement Systems Manager on all component parts of the finance and accounting system and the source to pay system.
To ensure that the procurement and finance system has integrity and key interfaces are successful.
To assist in maintaining a service response to all staff using the Finance and Procurement systems.
Assist in the development of reporting tools to support this performance management.
To assist and responsible for key areas allocated to the post for monitoring KPI's and service levels.
To assist in the liaison on finance and procurement systems with 500+ system users
Knowledge and experience of ERP applications, preferably including Oracle
Specialist knowledge and expertise of finance or procurement systems acquired through degree level qualifications or equivalent knowledge skills and experience plus further specialist experience within a relevant field.
