We are looking for an Asset Analyst to join our Asset Management and Investment Management business units. The role is highly collaborative with a requirement to support a range of workstreams required to appraise and forecast in the build to rent, office and retail property sectors.

Duties & accountabilities:

  • Conducting and reviewing due diligence in a structured and robust way, to identify and report key project risks and potential mitigation measures
  • Producing and maintaining the project financial forecasts (Commercial Appraisals including modelling)
  • Supporting and working with the capital solutions team on new business opportunities / projects, including managing bid costs and providing financial analysis to support commercial decision making
  • Assisting with portfolio pipeline planning and management of pipeline status updates
  • Supporting the asset management teams and the wider team in the preparation and management of various reports including Financial Modelling, Business Development Forum Presentations, Board Reports, Regional Investment Committee Papers, and Global Investment Committee Papers
  • Assisting in preparing the 5-year Business Plan, including market studies, pro-formas, including forecasts and analysis on new work secured and being aligned with the Region's strategy when portfolio pipeline planning
  • Applying commercial acumen: working with stakeholders to leverage financial, commercial and operational best practice
  • Understanding of the operational workings of the assets and the ability to challenge them
  • Using market information and contacts to improve i) Lend Lease's bidding prospects and ii) the robustness of our bidding assumptions

Essential skills and experience:

  • Prior experience with ARGUS Enterprise or ability to learn to implement ARGUS modelling
  • Understanding of financial management principles and knowledge on how to effectively manage the commercial and operational activities of the business
  • Advanced Excel modelling capabilities
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of real estate investment, development, and financing processes, including but not limited to market analysis, financial analysis, property valuation, and capital markets
  • Demonstrated proficiency with valuation methodologies
  • Problem-solving and ability to prioritise and manage own time effectively
