SEN Teacher, Bournemouth
About the School and the Job:
Prospero Teaching are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a fantastic ‘Good’ Ofsted rated SEN School based in Bournemouth. The school have a specialist provision catering for pupils with complex communicational needs and autism.
You will be working with an excellent team and joining a provision where you can make a difference, playing a key role in the development of students.
Experience and understanding of Autism and Complex needs would be advantageous however teachers with a genuine interest in SEN will be considered.
Contract Details for SEN Teacher:
* Location – Bournemouth, Dorset
* Position – SEN Teacher
* Type of work – SEN Teacher (Complex Needs & Autism)
* Start date – January 2020 (possibly sooner)
* Contract type – Temp/Perm
* Full time/part time – Full-Time
* Minimum rate of pay – Paid to Scale
Experience, Training and Qualifications needed for SEN Teacher role:
* Previous Teaching experience is required, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this is not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
* Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous
* A passion for working with children with SEMH.
* Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.
* You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.
To be eligible to work as a SEN Teacher through Prospero Teaching you must:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references
