At Lloyds Banking Group, we help Britain's people, businesses and communities prosper. Our goal is to become the best bank for customers - and you'll help us to achieve it.

We're currently looking for Part-Time Customer Service Advisors to join our contact centre team.

If you care about making a difference for people, this could be the opportunity you're looking for to help people make the most of their money - and get the best from their bank.

What you'll be doing

In this role you'll be part of a busy contact centre answering the phones and doing your very best to help the person on the other end of the line. We connect with our customers in a variety of ways including over the telephone, via social media, web-chat & remote advice video calls. Our customers choose how they want to bank with us & we are there for them when they need us most.

You'll take care to find out what matters to them and do your very best to answer all their questions. If you don't know the answers, there is no need to worry as we have plenty of experts that do.

From day one you'll learn about our products and processes. We'll give you everything you need to be able to respond to queries quickly. And you'll strive to learn and become better every day.

What you'll need

Crucially, you're a team player. You'll need to be able to put yourself in the customers shoes and work together with them. You'll always deliver on your promises - and you'll do everything you can to go above and beyond.

You don't need any financial services experience, we'll give you all the training you need, in a 6-week training course. And of course, the team around will be there to support afterwards.

You're someone who focuses on what matters. And your personal responsibilities are a matter of pride for you.

Minimum requirements:

  • You'll need to commit to a specified shift pattern for a minimum of 12 months (thereafter you can request a change in your working pattern to suit your lifestyle)

The Rewards

In return for your commitment, you'll of course receive your salary as well as enjoy the advantages of a rewards package that offers flexibility and choice. Highlights include:

  • 22 days holiday + 8 days for Bank Holiday
  • Annual performance bonus
  • The ability to replace some benefits with cash
  • Option to save money with exclusive high street discounts
  • Private medical benefits
  • Discounts on great financial products such as mortgages, loans and insurance
  • Generous contributory pension scheme
  • Share-save and incentive plans
  • Support for your total wellbeing: body, mind, finance and work

You'll also be part of a diverse and inclusive workforce, reflective of the customers and communities we serve.

Company

We’re creating an organisation that attracts, retains and develops the best talent in the industry, and one that openly embraces diversity too. But more than that – we want to be a great place to work. We invest in our people, offering the best training and coaching, and by encouraging them to contribute to our leading corporate and social responsibility practices. We offer flexible working hours and days, under our Work Options scheme. This means that you can have a challenging and rewarding career, and still have an ideal work/life balance.

Flexible working is at the heart of our strategy. We’re re-imagining where, when, and how our people work, with new approaches designed to meet the ever-changing needs of customers and colleagues. These include increasing our use of remote-working tools and technology, as well as placing less reliance on a 9-to-5 mindset. For many of our office-based colleagues, we work in hybrid ways which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of their time at one of our office sites.
