Nescot is a forward-looking College of Further & Higher Education that serves a large area of South East England with a wide range of vocational and academic courses, both full and part time. The College is situated in Ewell, close to Epsom in Surrey, and is located in the green belt near Epsom Downs and can easily be accessed either by car (junctions 8-10 on the M25) or rail (Ewell West is close and the college is next to Ewell East where you can get regular direct trains to Clapham Junction and Victoria).  The College was last inspected in February 2016 retaining its overall grading of ‘Good’ under the robust new Ofsted standards. We are currently recruiting to the following position:  HR Assistant £16,490 - £18,906 p.a. (salary may be increased for an exceptional candidate) Starting salary will depend on level of qualifications and work experience Are you looking for your first step within Human Resources? We are able to give you the experience and opportunities you need to progress within a Human Resources career. Or are you already an Administrator and want to branch out into something different? No previous work experience in Human Resources is required, but if you have just left University we do want to see evidence of your work experience, either paid or unpaid (other than any organised through your school, college or university). You will need to be a fast learner with lots of energy and enthusiasm. You will be an integral part of a small team mainly dealing with recruitment so you must have a great work ethic, strong interpersonal skills, be very flexible and take real pride in your work. Also you will have the chance to make creative decisions regarding recruitment so having a flair for this and the confidence to put forward and research your ideas is important. You also need the ability to be accurate with great attention to detail and super administration skills. A positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude is a must so that you can provide a good service to our staff. Your IT skills will be in demand especially in a help desk situation where you will be supporting staff through using our self-service systems. Your professional approach and communication skills are also important as you will be meeting and greeting and escorting interviewees to provide a positive experience of our recruitment process. There is the option to gain qualifications whilst you are with us either an Apprenticeship Level 2 /3 in Customer Care or Business Administration or/and an Apprenticeship in Human Resources.
