Part Time (18.5 hours)
The closing date for this post is 12 noon on 22nd November 2019.
Those currently eligible on the redeployment register will be given prior consideration.
The main purpose of the role is to research, design, deliver and evaluate training programmes. To assess achievements of trainees and provide professional feedback and / or developmental plans as appropriate
Main Responsibilities:
To train and develop Police Officers, Police staff and external clients, using appropriate training methods and appropriate venues.
To research, prepare and plan training material according to any stated objectives and in accordance with organisational requirements and College of Policing accreditation requirements.
To support the learning of others using the most effective medium
To prepare reports, tests and assessments on delegates / students as required in support of portfolio completion.
To validate and update training material as appropriate and as required by local, regional and national protocols.
Respond appropriately to evaluation processes, incorporating feedback into training design.
To undertake other duties commensurate with the nature, level of responsibility and grading of this post, as required
