Could you bring the power of personal playlists to people and organisations in your local community? Would you like the chance to lead a local project that will make a big impact in a short time? Playlist for Life is the personal music and dementia charity founded in 2013 by writer and broadcaster Sally Magnusson. Thanks to funding from the Community Lottery Fund we have ambitious plans to increase the use of playlists in dementia care and are rolling out a major expansion programme. This is a 12-month part-time contract which provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to join the organisation at an exciting time for a growing charity. It will allow someone to make their mark within their own community and deliver real change in the quality of life for people and families living with dementia. Your previous experience may have been in any sector – NHS, charity, commercial, creative. What matters is that you demonstrate capability in recruiting, developing and enthusing local volunteers, delivering training and providing tangible, practical results with Help Point expansion. You will have solid organisational skills, particularly written and verbal communications skills. Experience of training or organising a training event would be an advantage but is not essential as we will provide comprehensive induction and training to support these roles. If you have any questions regarding the role that aren’t answered in the job description or the person specification, please contact the Playlist for Life office. Application notes Handwritten applications and CVs will not be accepted.
