We are looking for numerous Signallers to join our expanding work force based within NW&C - North West & Central. This is a safety critical role and your decisions will make all the difference. You will take great care to make sure trains pass safely and efficiently through your area of control to continue across the network, using either manual or computerised signalling systems.
Don’t worry if you have don’t have railway experience, we provide the training for you. When you have completed 12 weeks training you will have a qualification to provide you with the foundations for a rewarding career and fantastic opportunities at Network Rail. If you already have signaller qualifications that’s great too.
We are looking for an individual who has the ability to concentrate for long periods of time, excellent communication skills and a methodical approach to your workload. You should possess good hearing and eyesight with satisfactory colour perception (this will be tested as part of a pre-employment medical) and access to your own vehicle (to travel to your base day and night depending on your shift pattern).
This role involves days, nights and weekend working as the job is safety critical. Offers of employment are subject to drug and alcohol testing and passing of the relevant medical assessment.
