We specialise in supporting people to live a full and meaningful life that are affected by autism. We are looking for passionate individuals to join our fantastic service and team, to support our service users.

We support incredible people, our role is to help develop them emotionally, socially and educate them. We are enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the people that we care for, some of them may have trouble with their emotions, communicating or dealing with situations that a other people find simple.

You will be responsible for helping look after the people in our care, we work with each person to provide them with individual and specific goals, whether that be education, care plans or helping them with skills to ultimately achieve independence. A huge part of what you'll do is be a friend to them, someone that pays attention and genuinely cares, you'll get involved with activities like taking them out to the shops, medical appointments, job support, maybe it's swimming lessons or just getting them out and about having fun. The majority of our services users are 0-25, so you'll have a hand in shaping their future and ensuring that they are encouraged to grow as individuals.

You will need to be a driver for this role as it's solely focused around taking our service users out and about across Cornwall. Don't worry wherever you have to travel from you're paid from the time you leave your home, meet the service user and get back home, including covering any mileage along the way!

We're looking for someone that is indepedent, after all when you're out in the community with our service users, you'll be the responsible individual, so you'll be problem-solver, someone that's switched-on and assessing the situation constantly to ensure that yourself and the service users are safe at all times.

As much as you'll help us look after our residents, we'll look after you. We have a generous benefits package available to all of our staff and we're actively looking to develop people. If you want to achieve NVQ qualifications we'll be more than happy to help you, we're always looking to promote internally as well!
