The school has excellent local transport links and set in walking distance from the main shopping areas. The school is set on a small site but has been recently renovated and now features the latest ICT equipment and spacious, bright classrooms.

The school is very well run and there is an efficient, supportive senior leadership team in place. The school would like to appoint a hardworking, caring and enthusiastic classroom Key Stage 2 class teacher to join the team in January on a part time basis.

You will need a passion for teaching a lesson from a broad, balanced curriculum and enjoy taking part in whole school life. The school caters for an urban community, with children attending from many different nationalities. The number of children attending with EAL and SEN is broadly average. The school is a very happy and inclusive place where both adults and children are encouraged and support to develop to the best of their ability. The school offer regular, targeted CPD to all staff. The Head teacher is very visible within the school and has an open door policy. She is keen to start interviewing straight away and would like the successful candidate to start before the October 2012 half term.
