We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Planning and Supply team as Supply Manager on a permanent basis. The role reports into the Planning and Supply Manager and is responsible for the production programme, vehicle supply plans and inventory to meet our sales targets. You’ll negotiate and work closely with our factory to ensure we have the right supply of vehicles into the UK at the right time, to suit customer demand. You’ll get this done by building key relationships at all levels. You’ll have excellent stakeholder management skills and be comfortable and confident working with a wide network of people from the factory to fleet to product marketing. You’ll be the touch point on so many different departments and get exposure to board members on a regular basis.

You’ll know a thing or two about inventory management and sourcing and be able to put your commercial skills to the test in this busy and fast-paced role. You’ll be relatively analytical and be able to put plans in place based on data and analysis. An understanding of a retail network environment would be beneficial as it’s the beating heart of our business and the channel our customers touch.
