Adecco Recruitment are currently recruiting for on behalf of our client, a Business Support Administrator to work for a successful and growing organisation based in the Heysham area.
Contracted working hours are 32 hours weekly-from 8am to 4pm Mon-Fri (hours might be flexible)

Business Support Administrator

Our client is seeking to appoint an Business Support Administrator at their head office in Heysham, to organise, coordinate and process the department's administration whilst providing support to the team. Forming part of our client's administration team, you will be working closely with whole team, ensuring high levels of organisation effectiveness and communication using Sage 50 and cleanlink. You must be self motivated, flexible and have excellent IT skills.

Overview

You will play a pivotal role in leading the company administration for the washroom division. This will include -

Purchasing
Invoicing
Debtor Chasing
Revenue Sheet - Complete on Excel
Process Supplier Invoices
Dealing with customers

Full overall administration experience is essential. Part of the role will be to liaise with the operational team, manufacturers, suppliers, colleagues, sub-contractors and transport suppliers to ensure all products and services are available in the right place at the right time.

General Duties:

General office activities including filing, opening post, scanning, sending letters and photocopying to support the operation and office based teams.
Creating and maintaining a variety of documents including letters, records and registers using Word, Excel and Databases.
Identifying and implementing opportunities to continuously improve processes, reduce paperwork and increase efficiencies
Acting as a first point of contact for visitors to the office and telephone/email enquiries.
Open and distribute post

Experience/Requirements:

Strong IT Skills an expert user of all Microsoft packages, with focus on Excel
Excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail and efficient task prioritisation
Ability to manage your own workload and supervise the work of others concurrently
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads

Person Specification:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be flexible and adaptable and be able to work well within a team. You must be self motivated to work independently and enjoy looking for ways to continuously improve processes. You will need to be IT competent and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in administration.
