Support Workers, Practitioners & Supervisor

Location: Glasgow.
Salary: £9.00 – £10.91 Per Hour.
Contract: Full and part time hours available.

Our children and family support service offers evening after school support, weekends and school holidays. Our aim is to be open and honest, recognise individual worth, build relationship through trust and be accountable for our actions. We would expect that the children will have a service that offers a variety of activities both within Touchbase and the community focussing on each child's interests, ambition or needs. We agree outcomes with parents and carers and we believe everyone should have a choice on how they live their lives.

If you are up for a challenge and feel you could contribute to supporting a child to persue their dreams and ambitions please contact us.

At Practitioner and Supervisor level you will be expected to take on an additional responsibility by assisting the Registered Manager to maintain quality care standards and registration requirements. You will achieve this by supporting staff to obtain the required level of qualification to meet registration standards and their continuing professional development.

All successful applicants must be in a position to gain the qualification as determined by the SSSC for registration purposes and be able to gain professional registration with the SSSC within the timescale required, where relevant.

Whilst applications for these posts are welcome from all, we have found the “out of school” nature of the work is particularly successful for students undertaking health or social work studies.

Full job descriptions for each position are available upon request.
