Hours of Work
Various Hours and days. Flexibility essential. Early starts from 06.00 and late finishes, working until 21:00.

Duties & Responsibilities
As a Cafe Production Chef at Waitrose & Partners, you will be part of the team who provide the largest in house catering in the UK. Your focus will be on using fresh, seasonal produce to create dishes and agreed menus for both our customers and Partners to enjoy.
Job Requirements
You will ensure the day to day running of the kitchen is efficient, controlling stock and minimising wastage.
You will therefore need to have experience of producing food to a high quality standard in a fast-paced environment. This role would be suited to someone with a real passion for food, who is creative and commercially focused and can get the most out of their team.
Required essential experience skills and qualifications
Previous experience in a fast paced catering environment.
This role will require work with open-food. For hygiene reasons, successful applicants must be non-nail biters.
You don't wait to be told, you're self sufficient and full of energy. You drop everything for your customers - they are your number one focus and you use your judgement to make sure every customer you interact with leaves feeling they matter most to us. Desirable experience skills and qualifications
Relevant professional chef qualifications: City and Guilds Diplomas in professional cookery, BTEC HNC in professional cookery or equivalent.
Leading a team and a culture with high standards of cleanliness at all times
Health and Safety Level 2.
Delivering outstanding service to customers.
Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
