Part-Time University Programme Administrator
Our client, a leading University, are currently recruiting for a Part-Time University Programme Administrator to monitor and administer student records and processes from recruitment to graduation in all departments in the partner Institutions; scheduling student training programmes; providing support to students; event management and facilitating interactions amongst and between students and academic staff.
This is a part time role and the days of work can be flexible to suit you.
Location: South Kensington, London
Pay: £17.39 per hour
Type: Temporary, part-time
Duration: 3 Months+
Start date: ASAPIn this role your accountability's and responsibilities:
Reporting and Documentation
Create and maintain procedures and protocols for the administration.
Maintain accurate manual and computerised records and audit trails relating to all student administration and training programme materials.
Monitoring and updating the website.
Facilitate the efficient functioning of the management committee and its Advisory Board; organise and service the meetings; take responsibility for the Annual Report and undertake all related communications and administration.Customer Service
Liaise with key offices establish and operate efficient, streamlined and consistent administrative processes to support operations.
Contribute to "the student experience" through excellent administration of recruitment/admissions, induction, skills training and registration, monitoring and progression, and examination and graduation.Planning and Organising
Organise and manage both formal and informal events including recruitment events, interviews, conferences/workshops and outreach events to enhance the public understanding of science.
Organise lectures by visiting industrialists and Academics including arranging hospitality and accommodation. Liaison
Coordinate the implementation of the organisations communication, marketing and publicity objectives to ensure that the work and strengths are promoted consistently both internally and externally through its website, events, conference attendance, advertising of studentships, publications and other means.
Develop and maintain links within the University and others across the UK, in order to ensure synergies and opportunities are identified and exploited.Other duties
Any other duties as may be required and as are commensurate with the grade of the post.

Essential
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
Efficient organisation and project management skills; the ability to plan and prioritise workloads and to meet multiple fixed deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills in order to develop effective relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels of seniority.
Excellent all-round IT skills, and ability to get to grips with new electronic systems.Desirable
Experience within Higher Education administration.
Event management experience, including organising small conferences/workshops.
Knowledge of legislation, policies and current issues relevant to and affecting the Higher Education sector.
Able to design and maintain website content and structure using the appropriate software.
