A well established large national organization are recruiting for a Day Support Worker for their outreach services in Banwell, Somerset. You will be working with Adults, who have Autism and can display challenging behaviour.
Main Job Role:
- Support clients with everyday duties i.e. cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
- Manage them through their Support Plans (maintain good health and diet)
- Assist them with any activities or day centres they attend to
- Accompany them out & about in the community i.e bank appointments, health visits etc
- Encourage them with future goals they would like to achieve
- Some aspects or full personal care required but no manual handling / hoisting
Qualifying candidates:
- Have life, paid, personal or voluntary experience in care (any setting / sector)
- Must be a car driver with your own car
Contract / Terms:
- Salary is £7,030 - £16,250 per annum = £8.45 an hour
- We have upto 16 - 37 hour contracts available, Monday to Fridays with alternative weekends
- Day shifts can vary between 7am - 10pm
