Fresh off the block, our client, who is at the cutting edge of digital technology is looking for a hands-on, driven Digital Copywriter. The appointed Digital Copywriter will create compelling blog posts, emails, whitepapers, video scripts, social media content and web copy. As a Digital Copywriter you will be naturally curious and proactive in developing content that drives brand awareness and generates leads.
This company is at an exciting stage of growth and so the Digital Copywriter will need to be tech savvy and live/breathe the digital world. You will need to have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement at every level.
This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write material targeted for this engaged but discerning audience. It goes without saying as a Digital Copywriter you are detail-oriented, self-motivated and committed to meeting tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Create content to increase engagement, drive brand awareness and generate leads
Champion the use of content to channel key messages – throughout the customer buyer journey
Create and maintain a content calendar
Regularly produce various content types, including email, articles, social media posts, blogs, videos, infographics, case studies and whitepapers
Transcribe and edit content produced by other members of the team
Analyse content metrics
Manage the brand’s social media channels
Grow social engagement and followers, create rapid-response driven content, engage influencers
Keep up-to-date with the latest industry stats and reports to react to content that reflects key trends / hot topics
Collaborate with other members of the team to create innovative content ideas for Marketing Campaigns
Support PR activities by writing press releases, planning communications around key announcements, awards submissions and guest thought-leadership posts
Website updates and maintenance
Skills/ Experience:
A natural flair for written communication
Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
The ability to ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, tone of voice and quality
Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including email marketing, SEO best practices, content & social media marketing
Knowledge of marketing automation tools such as Hubspot preferred but not essential
Experience of working with CMS systems
Experience of working with third-party agencies to commission content projects preferred but not essential
