Performance and Warrant Officer Leamington Permanent  Full Time The closing date for this post is 12 noon on 5th December 2019 Those currently eligible on the redeployment register will be given prior consideration. Interviews to be confirmed   The main purpose of the role is to interogate IT systems and analyse performance data to support the Department in the promotion of good practice and to ensure compliance with National, Regional, Force and Unit targets/timelines. To manage the efficient deployment and execution of fail to appear warrants across the Force and on behalf of other forces. To maintain an effective administrative system by collating intelligence to facilitate the building of warrant packages in order to provide a quality service which ensures offenders are brought to justice. Main Responsibilities To prepare documentation to support departmental performance reviews. To work closely with Criminal Justice Managers supporting the development of performance measures. To manage mini reviews/projects, as and when required. To carry out performance analysis, on both internal data and from partner agencies to assist in facilitating change and promote best practice. To provide data in relation to Freedom of Information requests. To grade warrants in line with National protocol, to include risk assessment of the wanted person in accordance with inter agency protocols. To research, collate and gather information from authorised sources to expediate execution of warrants. To ensure accurate and timely updates to force systems. To undertake audits for warrants held, coordinating information alongside our partner agencies. To undertake other duties commensurate with the nature, level of responsibility and grading of this post, as required. Experience/Skills: Knowledge: 5 GCSE’s grade A – C or 9 – 4 including English and Maths, or equivalent. A good understanding of the Criminal Justice System, in particular with regard to offenders who fail to attend court, and traffic, crime and witness care processes. Experience: Experience in collating and analysing a wide range of data and information, carrying out analysis and presenting findings. Experience of attending management meetings and providing performance related advice. Experience of preparing performance related documentation. Experience of working independently, and as part of a team. Experience of prioritising and allocating workloads.  Key Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, in writing and verbally. Proven ability to negotiate and influence people in order to achieve an outcome. Proven ability to work to strict deadlines and managing a high workload, whilst balancing competing demands. Competent in the use of IT, including Microsoft packages or equivalent.
