This is an opportunity to join a B2B company that provides engineering services for its manufacturing and process customers.

This is an interesting project for a part-time / interim Finance Director. You will be tasked with upskilling the finance team; testing and setting the company's strategy and then supporting the board in attracting PE investment to fund future growth. The project will have a broad ranging profile and as such you will need to be comfortable with hands-on, commercial and strategic matters. Initial tasks will include ensuring the finance function has proper systems, process and procedures, as well as mentoring and coaching the existing team.

The next stage will be to get involved in commercial and strategic matters; such as reviewing and modelling the business's growth plans, opportunities and risks, how to best scale up both in the UK and abroad etc. This data will feed into pre-investment due diligence, IM and data room activities while you lead the fundraising exercise.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the engineering services and solutions sector and be available to start work at fairly short notice. Please advise if you have a preference for a part-time or interim assignment. Based in the North West, although there may be some travel to other sites.
