Shift patterns will include: Monday - Friday - 19:30pm - 23:30pm Saturday - 09:00am - 12:30pm Supporting the most marginalised people in society isn’t easy. The work is often pressurised and always challenging. It takes a huge amount of empathy, positivity and passion to make even the smallest of steps forward. But, if you want a rewarding job in which no two shifts are the same, then come and join us!  We are a fun dynamic team who strive to provide quality person centred services to some of the most socially excluded people in society. Julian House in partnership with BCHA are currently jointly recruiting for a Casework Coordinator to work in Exeter’s flagship Winter Night Shelter. This project, known as SafeSleep, will provide safe, supportive accommodation for people sleeping rough or at risk of sleeping rough, between 01 October 2019 and 31 March 2020, and offer tailored support to move people into more suitable, sustainable accommodation. These roles require empathy and understanding as well as the ability to maintain clear professional boundaries and provide a safe environment. Some of our staff have lived experience, others have social care work experience, whilst some have just graduated from university and want to develop new skills. But what all the team members have in common is a strong value base and a natural affinity for people, who often have a range of complex needs. With an ability to work on your own initiative as well as being part of a team who are committed to client involvement, you will be innovative and creative in your approach to meeting client need.  If you want to work for organisations that genuinely help others and are up for a new challenge or want to develop your existing skills, then we would love to hear from you.
