Staff Work PerksWe are looking for a dedicated Part Time Employability Coach. To provide support and advice to develop and supply support to clients to enable them to compete in a competitive work environment through delivering employability skills

We work with our clients to reduce social barriers to enable them to live fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals and aspirations.

18 hours are available with a salary of £8,723.52 rising to £8,938.80 after a successful probation period. You will be working with Young People under 25.

All applicants are required to have access to a road worthy vehicle with business insurance.

Main Responsibilities:

Work as part of the team being responsible to Training and Development Manager for the wellbeing of service users
Provide service users with practical assistance, advice, advocacy and support in order that they might develop their skills and work toward maximising their independence
Work with service users within the project on their employability skills including supporting them through the NOCN qualification
Make and maintain contacts with local employers to enhance the skills of the service users including arranging work placements and the opportunity for mock interviews
To hold regular innovative activities by enabling a user led approach to managing the projectCoach | Care Support Worker | Learning | Employability Coach | Level 3 Coaching & Training | Youth Support | Training | Employability Skills | Learning Disabilities | Mental Health | Autism

Essential Skills

Level 3 Award in Education & Training or equivalent experience
Experience of working with vulnerable clients/ young people preferably
Experience of working unsupervised and on your own initiative
Ability to form and maintain professional working relationships with a range of individuals
Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Experience of forming and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries
Competent IT Skills
Hold current driving licence and have access to reliable car with business insurance
Ability to record information accurately, objectively and within prescribed timescales
Experience of working in a training capacity (training will also be given)
To currently hold or be committed to personal development
To occasionally work other hours than those stated
Experience of working as part of a team

Desirable Skills

Experience of involving service users in improving services
Experience of offering support and advice around training and employment
