Cover Supervisor Preston ü  Position: Cover Supervisor ü  Location: Leyland ü  Start: ASAP / January 2020 ü  Full time and part time ü  Hours: 8:40am – 3:15pm ü  Pay rate: £9.50 - £11.50 per hour ü  Must have some experience working with children, young adults or the social / health sector Want to gain experience in secondary schools in Leyland? Have a passion for helping children and young adults? If so, Teaching Personnel want to hear from you ASAP! Teaching Personnel are looking to urgently recruit Cover Supervisors for the Leyland area. The school was recently Ofsted graded 'Good' in all areas, with an overwhelming number of parents endorsing the school through the OFSTED online survey saying how safe and well taught their children are at the school. Teaching Personnel are working with big using client schools in the Leyland and Preston area too, which are in need of Cover Supervisors! Even though this position is a flexible contact, you can be of comfort knowing that Teaching Personnel will be continuously working behind the scenes sourcing you your new exciting role; however these roles can turn into a permanent contract, should the school love you! This is the perfect opportunity to gain invaluable experience within secondary schools, especially if you want to go into Teaching or wanting to become a Teaching Assistant. What is a cover supervisor? -          To supervise work that has been set in accordance with the school policy. -          To manage the behaviour of students whilst they are undertaking the work to ensure a constructive environment in accordance with the school’s Behaviour -          To respond to any questions from students about process and procedures. -          To deal with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures. -          To collect any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher.
