Remit

Compass Associates are working with a large dental group to recruit for a Practice Manager for their practice based in North London. The company has 26 dental practices across the South East of England and is continuing to grow. They strive towards providing professional care, attention and excellent customer service to all their patients. The company is a 5-surgery mixed NHS and Private Practice, with the practice being made up of 12 members of staff and offers on-site staff parking, and are a short walk from local travel links.

The Role

The role includes managing the team and continually implementing processes designed to enhance the practices performance. You will be responsible for planning targets for the practice, reviewing and analysing profit and loss and ensuring that this is achieved or exceeded. You will also support clinicians to achieve their personal and practice goals, proactively market the practice and increase patient numbers, understand and ensure the practice meets CQC and legislative guidelines and effectively managing the recruitment and selection of all the practice staff.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be currently working as a Practice Manager for a dental practice. You will have a minimum of 2 years managerial experience confidently leading a team, understanding how to generate income and control costs, commercially minded and have a thorough understanding of dentistry, able to face and handle difficult conversations and deal with complaints and issues if they arise. This would be an ideal opportunity for a Head Dental Nurse looking for the next step in their career.
