Support Worker
Location: Knowle Avenue, Bexley
Salary: £8.25-£8.75ph
Hours: Full-Time, 38 hours per week, a flexible working pattern required. Must be able to work a range of shift patterns, including earlies, lates and occasional sleep-ins

Our client is a charitable organisation that provides a range of flexible, individualised care and support services for people with learning difficulties, mental health support needs and older people. At this small supported-living service on Knowle Avenue, we are now looking for Full-Time members to join our hardworking team.
As a support worker, you will need to develop warm and trusting relationships with people with learning disabilities to help them to lead fulfilling and independent lives. No two days are the same, you will be supporting the tenants with personal care and to undertake household chores, including planning and preparing meals to supporting them in leisure, education and employment services inside and outside of the home.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Experience of supporting adults in a care setting or in the community
An awareness and understanding of Learning Disabilities
Good communication skills, patience and flexibility
An understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support
A flexible working pattern
An NVQ in Health & Social Care, or relevant qualification
A driving licence & access to your own vehicle would be a bonus
Experience is desirable, however, is not essential, as we offer full training for all of our Support Staff.
In return for your hard work, along with a great salary, our client is offering:
28 days per annum (pro-rata for part time hours worked)
