Here at XPO Logistics, we’re recruiting for an HR Manager on a full-time, permanent basis to join our Iceland distribution centre in Swindon.  This is a fantastic, rarely available, opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead on all HR initiatives on site. You’ll build strong relationships throughout your network and on-site in order to take the HR team from strength to strength. We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Build and drive the site HR People plan to support our overall business plan and develop our employee relations agenda Pro-active development of line management capability through formal training, coaching and guidance on all HR related activities Provide full HR generalist support and advice to managers and employees to ensure current knowledge of employee legislation Facilitating harmonious employee relations with the site teams and respective Trade Union representatives to ensure optimum working efficiency within the operation

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Demonstrable experience in a similar HR Management role with exposure to dealing with trade unions A proven track record in change management Strong interpersonal, leadership, coaching and motivational skills Be organised and detail conscious
